Cited as "the best live band working in New Jersey" by youdontknowjersey.com rock-jazz sax/bass/drum trio JOY ON FIRE returns to the Soupcon stage with material from their forthcoming 7th album Scenes as well as newer and classic material. Guitarist Matt Hurley as FLUX IN A CONSTANT STATE, cited as a "master of soundscapes" by legendary venue Prototype 237, makes his Soupcon debut on November 8. And a third band TBD will join the bill! MILDWOOD plays a particularly vibrant brand of shoegaze, with great hooks and energetic song structures!
